Wednesday November 21st
5.30 – 6.15pm
MC: Julia Wakefield introduces three poets: Steve Brock, Juan Garrido Salgado & Sergio Holas. Many people will be familiar with Steve Brock’s poetry from FSP New Poets 12 and his literary academic work at Flinders University. Juan is well known from his many performances in Adelaide and around the world as an acclaimed Chilean poet and activist. Sergio may be less well known, despite publishing several poetry books under the Salvatierra name. Sergio’s shadow has been seen in the Spanish section of Adelaide University where some people say he teaches Latin American Literature. All poets will be reading from recent books and latest publications. The poets will be delighted to sign your book after the performance. Light refreshments are provided by the State Library of SA.
