Louise Nicholas was born in Port Lincoln, South Australia. She has been a primary school teacher for over thirty years and currently teaches part time. Her publications include three self-published chapbooks: The Smear Test, Haven’t you had it yet? and The Mammogram; WomanSpeak, co-written with Jude Aquilina (Wakefield Press 2009); Large (Garron Press 2013); and The List of Last Remaining (Five Islands Press 2016). Louise’s work has been published in literary journals, magazines, anthologies and three Best of Australian anthologies. She has been a guest speaker and reader at many festivals, conferences and community events.

gareth roi jones is a member of the dandylion collective, a small writers’ group based in Adelaide, South Australia. His poems have been widely published, including in Best Australian Science Writing 2013, and have been short-listed for many prizes. His solo collection ‘Gunyah’ Healing was published in FSP New Poets 17. In 2014, he co-edited FSP Anthology 38 The Infinite Dirt.
