Peter Goldsworthy

has won literary awards across a wide range of genres, including the 1982 Commonwealth Poetry Prize, the 1988 Australian Bicentennial Poetry prize, the FAW Christina Stead Award for fiction, and a Helpmann Award, with composer Richard Mills, for the opera Batavia. His 1995 novel ‘Wish’ was recently rereleased in the Text Australian Classics series, and his 1989 novel ‘Maestro’ as an Angus & Robertson Australian Classic. His most recent book is ‘The Rise of the Machines and other love poems’, published in 2015.

Thom Sullivan

grew up on a farm in Wistow/Bugle Ranges in the Adelaide Hills. His short collection of poems, Airborne, was published in FSP New Poets 14 (Wakefield, 2009). Since then he has edited or co-edited seven poetry books. His poems have appeared in The Best Australian Poems 2014 and 2015, Australian Love Poems, and Australian Book Review’s “States of Poetry” series. He was a featured writer at Adelaide Writers’ Week in 2016.
