Louise Nicholas was born in Port Lincoln, South Australia. She has been a primary school teacher for over thirty years and currently teaches part time. Her publications include three self-published chapbooks: The Smear Test, Haven’t you had it yet? and The Mammogram; WomanSpeak, co-written with Jude Aquilina (Wakefield Press 2009); Large (Garron Press 2013); and The List of Last Remaining (Five Islands Press 2016).… Click for more

FSP Anthology #41 Launch

FSP Anthology 41: Worlds in Words, edited by Edie Eicas and David Harris, was launched by Mike Ladd at the Box Factory on 12th June to much acclaim.

The Satura Prize for best poem in the Anthology was awarded to Cary Hamlyn for Ultrasound in B-flat.

The Nova Prize for best poem in the Anthology by a previously unpublished poet was awarded to Inez Marrasso for No Boundaries.

Congratulations to the prize winners and everyone who has been published in the Anthology!

This is the biggest anthology FSP has ever produced! Winners of the Nova & Satura Prizes will be announced. The prize winners and poets invited by the Editors, Edie Eicas & David Harris, will read as part of the evening events.
