FSP is delighted to announce the winners of the Single Poet 2019 and New Poets 20 competitions.

The Single Poet 2019 Competition was won by Benjamin Adams for his collection A Synonym for Sobriety with commendations going to The Laureate Poems by Suzanne Verrall and The Underside Of Bark by Gaetano Aiello.

FSP August Open Mic announces New Poet 20 & Single Poet 2019 winners

In addition to the Open Mic session, tonight FSP will announce the winners of the New Poets 20 and the Single Poet 2019 Competition winners. You’ll need to be there to find out which poets will have their work published in the next round of FSP books.

Bring along your poems to read or just come and listen to a diverse range of poetry. Remember, 3 minutes maximum mic time per reader to make sure everyone gets a go and has an audience.

FSP Featured Poets at Halifax Cafe: Thom Sullivan and Kami
